My Public Declaration To You

For as long as I can remember, I have been skinny fat. I have had a high body fat percentage and low muscle mass.

I am now sick of it. This is my public commitment to you (not that anyone's reading lol) that I will loose fat and gain muscle, get in shape.

How I am measuring getting in shape

The goal is body recomposition: Loose Fat and Gain Muscle

For me this means haviing my belly to measure in at 32 inches which is good enough for me.

My current goals

  1. Belly to 32 inches
    1. currently at 36 inches
  2. arms to 15 inches
    1. currently at 13 inches
  3. Squat 60kg (including bar) for 8 reps
    1. Currently starting from empty bar since I'm recovering from a shoulder injury
  4. 3 Pull Ups
    1. Currently 0

The plan

Reduce Carbs and increase protein.

Protein is a huge problem for me. Daily protein intake is pretty low, likely get to 80g on a good day.

I'm planning to fix this by 2 scoops of protein powder and daily eggs or chicken.

I've been avoiding eggs for a while, due to taste so I think i'll need to suck it up and just go back to eggs.

I also need to skip paranthas for some time unfortunately. That's the one thing I haven't been able to resist.

In terms of doing more, I need to go for a daily walk. I don't burn enough calories during the day, so need to introduce cardio, maybe 15 minutes of treadmill of a walk once I'm back home.

I'll document the journey of loosing fat here on the blog will write a short post to document how it's going.
